Did you know that Denver Catholic interviewed the Jerome Lejeune Foundation’s Executive Director, Keith Mason? They discussed the opening of the new Jerome Lejeune Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, and how we are bringing holistic care to those with Down syndrome in the United States.
Keith shared how the partnership with Bella Health + Wellness was formed:
“I believe God brought us here. We’d looked at other locations…but it didn’t work out until we met the people at Bella. They do medicine the way we do medicine. It was such a deep connection on the ethos of how we approach care that we felt it was God bringing us together.”
He also expressed how this step embodies the heart of the Jerome Lejeune Foundation’s mission:
“People with Down syndrome are a key component to us teaching the culture and enhancing the culture of life. This is the start. If we care for these individuals and take a stand, it gives us the moral authority to encourage those individuals who are pregnant with a child—with or without a disability—that all humans should be protected and cared for.”
We invite you to learn more about our partnership with Bella, Keith’s personal journey of Down syndrome advocacy, and more in this inspiring article.
