Dear Friend of the Jerome Lejeune Foundation,
As we step into 2018, we are entering a new year with incredible potential to change lives.
When pediatrician and geneticist Dr. Jerome Lejeune was alive, thousands of families from around the world corresponded with him and came to him for help. He affirmed parents’ love for their children with Down syndrome, and showed over and over again that he truly cared for each of “these dear little ones”. He authentically lived out one of his well-known sayings that is near and dear to my heart: “Every patient is my brother.”
Thanks to the many of you who shared these stories with me via email and in person over the last six months; it has been a great motivation for me. Also, a big thank you to all our donors who gave in the final days of December. Thank you for standing up and answering the call!

I know that every life is a gift. And so is this year. In 2018, thanks again to the support of our many year-end donors, the Jerome Lejeune Foundation USA will continue Dr. Lejeune’s legacy of caring and advocating for the human dignity of men, women, and children with Down syndrome.
What a privilege it is to have you partner with us and come alongside us on this journey. Happy 2018!
