One of the important ways we carry on the legacy of Dr. Jerome Lejeune is by funding research related to Down syndrome. We’re excited to announce that the Jerome Lejeune Foundation and Sisley-d’Ornano Foundation are jointly funding a postdoctoral position for academic research.
This special research project will be dedicated to better understanding “cross pathologies”, i.e. pathologies occurring both in Down syndrome and in the general population such as (but not exclusively limited to) Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, autism, oncology and hematology.
One postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded to an outstanding researcher. The candidate will be selected during the second quarter of 2019, with the position to begin shortly after. The deadline for submission is February 1, 2019.
