Dear Friend of the Jerome Lejeune Foundation,
“We have no right to make them wait – not even one night – if we can do otherwise.”
So spoke Dr. Lejeune, who adamantly championed that all people with Down syndrome, whether adults, children or infants, are entitled to prompt and efficient care. Here at the Jerome Lejeune Foundation USA, we are determined to carry on his legacy and further his message by putting all our effort towards making a hospital in the United States a reality.
Below, I have included part 5 of our ongoing video series. This video highlights a few examples of the lifelong care we provide at our hospital in France – a care which we hope to bring to the United States.
Those smiles on the children’s faces and the relief in those of the parents are priceless. We want to be able to elicit the same joys for our loving family members with Down syndrome here in America.
