Dear Friend of the Jerome Lejeune Foundation,
I continue to be humbled by people with Down syndrome and their families. They inspire true joy, kindness, and wonder to everyone they encounter. I saw this on full display last week!
Madame Jerome Lejeune spent a week in the United States to help finalize the details of launching a holistic consultation dedicated to people with Down syndrome and sharing the legacy of Jerome Lejeune. I had the honor of being with her the entire trip.
During her incredibly busy trip, Mrs. Lejeune:

It was an exceptionally busy week! And perhaps most exciting for me – we made tremendous headway with preparations for the hospital.
The consultation, which will be established in Northern Virginia, will provide people with Down syndrome with unprecedented access to dedicated medical professionals that have been specially trained by the same doctors who have served Down syndrome people in France for over fifty years.
The level of experience, knowledge, and care which the hospital will provide is truly unprecedented here in the USA. It is a game-changer in the care of people with Down syndrome.
Why is this important? Simply put, medical care for people with Down syndrome does not meet their unique needs and does not often take into consideration the decades of knowledge acquired at the Jerome Lejeune Institute in France.
We are going to change that! But we need your support to make it happen.
Could you join me in offering a donation to help launch the hospital?
Your donation will go directly to funding the hospital, its staff, and children and adults with Down syndrome. The hospital will never turn away someone that cannot pay. Our mission is to serve anyone, regardless of their financial ability. Your donation will help make this possible.
$25 | $50 | $100 | $250 |
Your gift will help establish the hospital and ensure we have the funds needed to serve everyone.
Thank you for your generosity.
Warmest regards,
P.S. — Can you give monthly? Recurring gifts help us meet ongoing needs more efficiently. A monthly gift of $25 or $50 would go a long way.
